466 Hard at play Walmart has started carrying some Thomas the Tank Engine toys.  For awhile now (the past year, anyway), Noah has collected Thomas trains from the wooden set, but now he can get these from the plastic set--and they're motorized.  I sense an ominous trend.  The thing that really interests him about them, though, is that they have "realistic" side rods, or "traction rods" (as they were called on the show). 8-1-05
